This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used to provide month-end owner statements and bank-reconciliation worksheets.

Who we are

Ashira is the legal business name and service provider for UnitClose. Contact: support@unitclose.com.

Information you provide

We may collect information you submit through the waitlist form, account signup, in-app settings, or email. This can include your email address, month-end pain points, property-management edition, portfolio size, owner mappings, branding assets, and optional encrypted owner closing balances.

Uploaded financial files

Files you upload for processing are treated as temporary work material, not as a dataset we keep. Uploaded files and intermediates are designed to be deleted when processing finishes, with a 24-hour object-storage lifecycle backstop; generated outputs are designed to be deleted after download or within 24 hours. Ledger rows are not stored in our application database. See Security & data handling for the full model. Do not upload information you do not have permission to process.

Payment information

Payments are processed by Paddle. We do not store your full card number. Paddle may collect payment, tax, fraud-prevention, and billing details according to its checkout process and policies.

Analytics and usage information

We may collect basic usage information such as pages viewed, job starts and completions, checkout starts, referrer, and event metadata. We use this information to understand whether the site and product are useful and to improve the service.

Service providers

We use service providers for hosting, database storage, file processing, bot protection, and payment processing. Current infrastructure includes Cloudflare, Supabase, and Paddle.

Data retention

Uploaded financial files follow the short deletion timelines above. Account information, job status, and counts are kept as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, support your subscription, maintain business records, and comply with legal or operational obligations.

Your choices

You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of information where applicable, and you can delete owner mappings, branding, and stored closing balances directly in the product. Some records may need to be retained for payment, tax, security, or legal reasons.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards for the current stage of the business, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
